Mystical weddings
Our mystical wedding ceremonies are based on the idea of binding oneself, not only to the loved one but also to the elements and forces of life that surround us all. They are a means to celebrate a wedding with existence itself as a witness, a means to seal, empower and embellish a union with the natural elements and spirits that we live among.
Although they take place in Cusco’s Sacred Valley, the weddings we perform are not purely Andean. Rather, they are a fusion of rituals from various ancient traditions of the world, encompassing universal concepts and working with a variety of elements. A wedding ceremony could therefore include and combine rituals such as an Andean offering to Mother Earth, a Celtic hand-fasting or a Native North-American smudging. Each ceremony is uniquely designed with and for a particular couple, according to their personalities, their desires, and in total harmony with their origins, beliefs or genders.
The Sacred Valley not only offers spectacular landscapes, making it an ideal visual setting for such an event, but also powerful energies which can be used to bless the couple’s relationship with gifts such as those of joy, truth, stability or tenderness.
